Native, selected seed and excellent soil!
Only seeds from Laistenian beans have been used exclusevly.
An important factor that played a significant role in the production of our high quality beans was the selective, native seeds and the unique components of the soil of Laista as sampled and analyzed by the Laboratory of Applied Soil Science of the School of Agricultural at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The data found were really encouraging indications to lead us to sign a contract with BIOHELLAS to certify our crop as organic by an ongoing observation of our practices and methods throughout all of the stages of production for the next three years, as the law requires. (2018-2020).
